Seminar with Mr. Steve White

About twenty MVKS students frequently raised a "Wow!" or joined in for a roaring "energy" call when Mr. Steve White - the Director of the Manchester Karate Studio and Mr. Peacock's teacher - conducted a fantastic clinic about "Kenpo Counters to Judo Entries".
After a warm-up with falling exercises Mr. White gradually build up defense and counter attacks in a potential confrontation with a Judoka.
He showed how the first move of Thrusting Prongs, the Grip of Death, or the Crashing Wings technique can be used to prevent a Judo throw.
Mr. White's creativity in tailoring Kenpo techniques for a specific situation is simply amazing and sparks plenty of encouragement to "try it yourself". At the same time, explaining fine details like the proper position of a joined thumb rounded up the program to make it the most educational, inspirational and fun seminar one could wish for.
