Technique of the Month - December 2006

Brushing The Storm
(
right overhead club - from the right flank)

  1. Step to 12:00 with the left into a left close kneel with a right flapping elbow to the opponent's ribs, while the right hand maintains check (transition). Step to 10:30 with the right into a left neutral bow as the right hand grabs the opponent's foot (pull) and the left hand delivers an inward elbow to the opponent's lower back (push).
  2. Deliver a left front scoop kick to the opponent's groin and land in a left front twist stance (transition), deliver a right side snap kick to the back of the opponent's left knee.
  3. Cover out.
