Technique of the Month
- October 2006
Thundering Hammers
(right
straight punch
- Step left to 10:30 with a left thrusting inward block, the right
arm hangs at the side.
- Push-drag shuffle forward into a left high wide kneel with a
right forward horizontal forearm strike to the opponent's midsection,
the left hand goes to a hammer position, the right knee checks the
opponent's right knee.
- Drop to a right wide kneel with a left hammerfist to the
opponent's kidney while the right hand checks the opponent's right arm.
The left knee checks the opponent's right knee.
- Re-check the opponent's right arm with the left hand (transition)
as you rise and drop into a left wide kneel with a right hammerfist to
the opponent's back of the neck. The right knee checks the opponent's
right knee.
- Cover out.
