Technique of the Month
- September 2006
Thrusting Wedge
(attempted choke)
- Step to 11:00 with the right foot into a right forward bow while
delivering two outward claws to the opponent's eyes.
- Drop to a right wide kneel using frictional pull on the outside
of the opponent's arms (transition), rise to a right neutral bow with a
right upward elbow to the opponent's chin, the left hand grabs the
opponent's right wrist.
- Drop to a right wide kneel with a right overhead palm heel strike
to the bridge of the opponent's nose, the left hand maintains the grab.
- Cover out.
