Technique of the Month - May 2006

Locked Wing
(right rear hammerlock)

  1. Step back with the left into a left side horse stance with a left back elbow to the opponent's face; the right hand grabs the opponent's wrist.
  2. Pivot to a right forward bow with a left inside elbow strike to the opponent's elbow; the right hand maintains the grab.
  3. Step back perpendicular to the opponent with the right as the left hand traps the opponent's right and the right hand sets line of sight over the opponent's head (transition); deliver a right step thru knee / right overhead hand sword combo (offset sandwich) to the opponent's face and back of the neck; cover out.
