Technique of the Month - August 2005

Crushing Hammer
(rear bear hug - arms pinned)

  1. Step to 9:00 with the left into a modified horse stance, with a right rear stiff arm palm heel to the opponent's groin; the left hand maintains check.
  2. Step behind the opponent with the right foot into a left reverse bow, with a right rear stiff arm palm heel to the opponent's groin; the left hand maintains check.
  3. Pivot to a right neutral bow with a right rear obscure elbow to the opponent's chin, the left hand maintains check.
  4. Pivot to a right forward bow with a left inward palm heel strike to the opponent's ribs as the right hand chambers at the hip.
  5. Cover out.
