Checking the Storm
(defense against a right overhead roundhouse club)

  1. From a natural stance, step to 3:00 with your right foot as you draw into a left 45 cat stance with a left upward block, right hand covers midsection.

  2. Drop left hand to an outward extended block to defend roundhouse line, grab and pull down diagonally as you deliver a left front kick to groin, landing in a left front twist stance, right hand cocks to left shoulder.

  3. Deliver a right side kick to the lead knee, landing with a right outward back knuckle to side of the face, closing your center line while maintaining grab with your left hand.
