Technique of the Month - June 2003

Pincher
(defense against a right head lock grab from behind)

  1. Step to 12:00 into a right close kneel stance as your left hand pinches the inside of the upper right thigh & your right hand pulls the arm off the throat.

  2. Step through forward to 12:00 into a left side horse as the left arm pushes and the right hand pulls the arm into an arm bar that rests across the top of your thighs.

  3. From side horse, the left hand slides down the arm to pin/press on the elbow, followed by a right vertical thrust punch to the back of neck/ mastoid.
